„Stop-Sew-Reset II“ is an intergenerational participatory project, running as a tapestry stitching workshop. Everyone is invited to co-create the tapestry. The blueprint represents a digital image generated by Artificial Intelligence in 2022. At the time, AI was still relatively weak compared to the increasingly powerful progress we are witnessing today. The keywords for the image generator were: gathering, people playing on a playground, socializing, creativity, computer games, digital graphic, etc. In a few moments, a distorted image was created, visually combining the given words. The image, which was created in an instant, will require many participants and hours of work to be completed as a tapestry. The workshops are a meeting point for different perspectives between members of younger and older generations, for the benefit of all participants. Stitching is a metaphor for living and creating, through which people interact and transmit knowledge. The project focuses on the question of the materiality of an image in an era of the digital flow of information, as well as on the relationship between the slow stitching process and the immediacy of the contemporary visual experience. The work creates a contrast between the haptic quality and physical presence of the image and its apparent digital ephemerality.
The workshops are free to attend, and anyone can participate.
Workshop dates:
Every Friday, 1:00–4:00 pm, except on public holidays, at KGLU – Koroška galerija likovnih umetnosti (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koroška), including the entire Triennale IV period, from 1 May to 31 October 2026.

Artist Statement
Katja Felle (*1988, Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia) is a visual artist working in the field of painting, art education and artistic collaboration with social groups and institutions. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana and received her MA at the Universität der Künste Berlin. In her artistic practice, she researches, appropriates, and transforms visual references from the media world. A significant part of her work involves textile art, particularly hand-stitching and embroidery techniques, through which she explores their historical, social, and contemporary artistic roles. Her works and projects have been presented in solo and group exhibitions in many galleries and museums. Her works are included in public and private collections in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Poland. The artist works in Paris (FR) and Slovenj Gradec (SI).
